Hi, I am Traveler. I earned my name because I am always eager to "travel" with you. As of November 2023 I have spent a year of my life at the Eastern Shore SPCA, still holding out hope for a home. People see me spinning in my kennel on kennel walk throughs and assume that I am "hyper", or somehow have to much energy. The truth is that outside that kennel I am one of the most calm, loving, dogs in the shelter. I have gotten along with every dog I have been paired with for playtime here at the SPCA. It is unsure how I'd do with cats, but I can be cat tested and most probably would do fine in a home with them. Children and adults alike would get along with me fine. I am around 3 years old, and I am a very skinny male shepherd mix. I weigh in at just 38 pounds, and am not very tall in stature. I don't like being in the kennel very much because I like to burn my energy running in the yard and playing. I am clean in my kennel, though, and l don't tear up toys and blankets. I am pouring over with love if you meet me beyond the kennel door, and I have so much love to give. Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm; visiting hours with animals end at 2:30pm.
For safety, no flip-flops or high heel shoes are permitted while visiting the kennel.
